Overwintered nucs

Overwintered nuc with mated and laying marked Buckfast queen bee, 3-4 frames of brood in all stages & 1-2 frames of stores.  Overwintered nuc successfully through the 2024 winter into 2025 and includes the 2024 marked queen.   All nucs consist of 5 national deep frames, supplied in a correx travel box.

We allow the queens to produce several brood cycles in early spring before they are available for pickup OR posted. This eliminates  issues with early season queen supercedure and gets you an overwintered queen that has shown she has made it through winter successfully.

Bees are packaged in in 5 frame transport nucs.

Bees are verroa treated in the autumn, and again dec/Jan making sure colonies are strong coming out of winter.
